PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY - Care for others and the love of knitting or crocheting combine into a prayerful ministry that makes shawls, lap robes and afghans for those members in need of comfort and solace.
Many prayers and blessings are stitched into every piece that is made. Before going on to the final recipient, the whole congregation blesses them with prayer during a Sunday Service. The recipients truly appreciate this tangible symbol of the love and prayers held up for them by their family at St. John's.
